About This Scholarship
Bangor University is proud to introduce our Refugee Scholarship for those students who have had to flee their country of origin. In addition to being from a refugee background, we are looking for students who can demonstrate academic excellence and notable achievements in their social and professional life, and who will make a valuable contribution to all aspects of University life. This is an opportunity to recommence your academic career after having to leave your country and its education system. If you think that sounds like you – then we look forward to receiving your application. Not open to students studying at Bangor University International College (BUIC). Step 1: You MUST have an offer to study at Bangor University before you can apply. Step 2: Check your Eligibility for the scholarship and carefully read the conditions listed below. Step 3: Complete the Refugee Scholarship application form before the deadline. Step 4: Successful candidates will be informed by the end of June 2025 (for the September 2025 intake). Step 5: Scholarship winners will be required to complete a scholarship acceptance form within two weeks of the scholarship offer.
