We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds and encourage those who: • Demonstrate a strong interest in materials science through their personal statement or extracurricular activities. • Show potential to contribute positively to the department’s academic and social community. Please note: This scholarship is available to new entrants only. Students already studying the course are not eligible. The Department of Materials offers cutting-edge undergraduate programmes that blend scientific theory with practical application. Students explore topics such as nanotechnology, biomaterials, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing, preparing them for careers in research, industry, and innovation. As part of our commitment to supporting future materials scientists, this bursary is available exclusively to students enrolling in undergraduate courses within the Department of Materials.
