About this scholarship
DAAD (funded by Germany's BMZ) pays for a thesis-track Master's at selected Palestinian universities in the West Bank for graduates from the Palestinian Territories residing in the West Bank or holding a blue ID — ideally university staff, candidates for teaching or research posts, or public-sector staff.

Covers tuition, a monthly payment of 500 euros, an annual study and research allowance of 460 euros and a 400-euro printing allowance. The listed programmes (Al-Quds University) include biochemistry, infectious disease control, medical imaging, pharmaceutical sciences, artificial intelligence and public relations. Applications were open 1 June – 31 August 2026 via the DAAD portal; DAAD says the dates are usually in the same period each year.
