Top Prospective applicants are encouraged to talk to the program in which they are seeking admission for information on entrance funding opportunities. New students are encouraged to talk to your unit’s Graduate Chair or Graduate Administrator to see what awards are available. Funding opportunities, along with descriptions, eligibility criteria, application requirements, amounts and deadlines, can all be found in the CGPS Awards HUB . Find a graduate chair or administrator About CGPS funding CGPS offers a wide range of awards, scholarships, and bursaries to provide financial support to graduate students already registered and in full-time studies. These funding opportunities recognize students’ academic achievements, research potential, and community engagement. In addition to donor-funded opportunities, CGPS administers approximately $8.21 million of institutional funds to support graduate students. Much of this funding is allocated to units through the Student Support Fund (SSF) and CGPS 75 th Anniversary Scholarship programs and any inquiries should be directed to your program. CGPS also targets funding initiatives through programs such as Indigenous Recruitment Scholarship , Indigenous Graduate Leadership Scholarship , the Teacher-Scholar Doctoral Fellowship , and the Dean’s Scholarship . Students are also encouraged to apply to Tri-Agency scholarship programs . CGPS is proud to support and administer these programs. Award opportunities & deadlines CGPS distributes calls for awards applications by email one month prior to the start of the fall, winter, and spring/summer terms.
