About this scholarship
UAF supports refugees who live in the Netherlands and hold a residence permit based on asylum, studying at MBO level 3 or 4, HBO or university.

Support is a personal supervisor, help applying for government student finance, and sometimes financial support for study costs (tuition, books, a computer, travel) in the form of a loan that is partly or wholly repaid. UAF is not currently accepting new study-support applications from people still in the asylum procedure. Applicants need at least 10 years of schooling and Dutch at B1 level (also for English-taught programmes).
